Katie graduated from Syracuse University with a degree in Environmental and Interior Design. From there she worked in several capacities of the design community including commercial interior designer, commercial office furniture sales and seating specialist. She is well educated in the history of furniture having worked for Knoll, Inc. for many years. Becoming a Stager was an easy step for Katie, as she has an eye for what buyers are looking for in a home. She believes that staging is a strategic approach to the overall preparation of a property to help maximize profits that will ultimately sway a buyer's view to feel an emotional connection to the space. She looks at each individual property as a puzzle that needs to be solved. Katie's primary focus are occupied properties, but she also stages vacant properties as well as offerings in consultation and interior design. Katie has served on the RESA Board of the Charlotte Region Chapter as VP of Membership and is a recipient of the 2020, 2021 & 2022 Top 10 Home Stager of the Year-Occupied/USA award, as well as the 2021 Top Ten Enhanced Occupied Stager of the Year/USA award.
