Why DOM?

Show speed, not just price.

When a staged home moves faster than the market, it’s evidence your work reduced buyer friction and improved perceived value. The Days on Market Club™ recognizes those results with a simple, verifiable submission—and a property-specific logo you can share in your marketing.

For the purpose of this program, DOM is calculated from list date to accepted offer, pending, or under contract date, which aligns with how many stagers, real estate agents, and MLS systems traditionally track Days on Market.

Top Ten Listings by Quarter

Each quarter, the Days on Market Club highlights ten verified listings that sold significantly faster than their local market average.

How RESA Members Can Participate

4 quick steps

  1. Confirm the local average/median DOM for comparable listings.
  2. Record your listing’s actual DOM 
  3. Calculate % faster with the formula or the calculator.
  4. Gather proof and submit one form per sold listing.

What to Submit

1) Proof of Local Median/Avg DOM

  • Screenshot or link showing DOM for comparable listings in the same area/ZIP
  • Sources: MLS, Redfin, Zillow, Realtor.com, brokerage reports

2) Proof of Your Listing’s DOM (Only one of the following are required)

  • Screenshot or PDF from MLS that shows the list, contingent/pending/under contract + sold/closed date
  • Link to a public website that shows the list date, contingent/pending/under contract dates + sold/closed date
  • Signed letter from the listing agent on company letterhead with the list date, contingent/pending/under contract, and sold/closed date

3) Staging Fee (first 60 days)

Include staging + rental for the first 60 days of service.

4) Share Scope of Work

  • Paint consultation
  • Occupied (using client furniture)
  • Partial rental package
  • Full vacant stage

How to find median DOM quickly (realtor.com example):
  1. Go to realtor.com and search the ZIP.
  2. On results, scroll to the bottom → Facts about [AREA].
  3. Note “Median days on market.” Take a screenshot with the page URL visible.

Who can submit?

RESA® members in good standing. If you’re not a member yet, you can join and then submit.

How soon will I receive the logo?

Within 30 days of submission if documentation is sufficient. We’ll reach out if we need clarification.

Can I submit multiple properties?

Yes—please submit one form per sold listing.

Median vs. average DOM?

Provide median when available. If not, average is acceptable—note the source on your submission.

Logo Use

Logos are issued per verified property and may be used in your portfolio, proposals, social posts, and listing marketing for that address. Please do not alter the logo artwork beyond proportional resizing.

Logos are earned during an active membership and may be used indefinitely. Quarterly leaderboards will feature members with active memberships at the time of publication.
