Biography

For nearly 20 years, I have had the privilege of mentoring women, beginning when my own children were small. My experience as a mentor began with an organization called MOPS, where I mentored mothers of preschoolers. In 2008, I identified a need for a RESA (Real Estate Staging Association) Chapter in Georgia and started the first one. Over the years, I have held various leadership roles within RESA and have become well-known in the staging community. I am humbled to receive calls from stagers seeking advice or guidance on a monthly basis. My approachable and open nature is a reflection of my commitment to helping others succeed. Mentoring will always be an essential part of my work and how I can contribute to the success of others.

Throughout my career, I have been dedicated to mentoring and helping others achieve their goals. As a local and national leader, I have tried to create a sense of camaraderie amongst stagers and break down barriers. Collaboration is a key to success, and I view my competitors as colleagues rather than adversaries. This mindset has been invaluable in my growth, and it is why healthy mentoring is important to me.

Throughout my career, I have actively volunteered and held leadership positions within the Real Estate Staging Association (RESA). In 2008, I established the first RESA chapter in Georgia and later became the State President, a role that Kathy Nielson had also held for many years. Additionally, I served on the National Board.

Currently, I am a member of the Atlanta Chapter and provide support by speaking at meetings, and offering any help necessary to foster a robust and thriving chapter. I am also a leader in various industry-related organizations. I also partner with CSP, Certified Staging Professional Training program as the authority on Short-Term Rental Design. This program trains designers and stagers nationwide to become experts in the short-term rental industry. Furthermore, I am a pioneer in this industry and participate in several networking groups, providing design coaching and speaking on national platforms.

My leadership style emphasizes the importance of building leaders by inspiring, educating, and empowering others with the resources and tools necessary for success. I firmly believe that the goal of leadership is not to accumulate followers but to develop other leaders. As John C. Maxwell once said, "The single most significant way to impact an organization is to focus on leadership development. There is almost no limit to the potential of an organization that recruits good people, raises them as leaders, and continually develops them."
